CORONA-NORCO SETTLEMENT HOUSE:
Settlement House, a United Way Agency, is an outgrowth of Associated Charities begun in 1912 to aid Corona's low-income families. The Agency was renamed Settlement House in 1918 to maintain a program of home education and relief among the needy.
Settlement House programs evolve to fit the current needs and resources in the community.
The Corona-Norco Settlement House is a non-profit provider of assistance to individuals and families in crisis or with temporary financial needs in the Corona-Norco area.
The main forms of assistance include food, shelter, clothing, rent and referrals to other appropriate agencies. Settlement House is funded through individual and company donations, private, Federal & City of Corona grants and the United Way.
Our goal is that no individual or family will go without food or shelter, and no child will go to school without proper clothes.
